Kroger, one of America’s largest supermarket chains, decided to use technology to help it survive and prosper in the 4th Industrial Revolution. The companies have announced that they will open three new warehouses that will operate the Ocado, followed by another 17 in the next three years. Ocado warehouses are run by robots driven by machine learning algorithms to navigate the warehouse and select products for orders. With this investment and access to Ocado technology, Kroger will ensure that products reach stores more efficiently.

Marketing gains momentum with analysis

Internal analyst Kroger 84.51 implemented Kroger Precision Marketing, which uses data from 60 million Kroger buyer families to buy customers and launch marketing campaigns across a digital spectrum.
